Alwan Color Expertise Launches the windows version of its leading CMYK Optimizer software on PrintPack India, 2013
Alwan solution to ensure Color Standardization and Ink Reduction for all printing workflows.

Lyon, February 5, 2013. Alwan Color Expertise, a leader in color control and standardization technologies, today announced it is demonstrating its entirely updated range of products at Print Pack 2013. Alwan's new X suite of software enables publishers and printers to use Alwan's leading technology for newspaper, commercial and packaging printing, across workflows and platforms.

“For years, print buyers and printers have been looking for solutions to help them predict and stabilize color reproduction” said Elie Khoury, Alwan’s President. “But this can be a daunting process. With print buyers increasingly demanding consistent colors, it is critical for printers to step up their efforts to standardize their printing processes and to demonstrate compliance on a daily basis. Alwan has developed its new solutions to allow printers easily obtain ISO 12647 or G7 certification, but also to extend their color control and standardization to non CMYK printing processes such as multicolor and spot color printing.” Khoury also points out that all checks, corrections and process assessments performed on files or on press using Alwan solutions are documented in xml and PDF reports. Those reports delivered by all Alwan solutions conform to ISO 9001 quality management requirements, delivering an unprecedented level of operational security and information traceability.

Alwan will be exhibiting its suite of solutions on AGS India Booth in Hangar 3, Stall No. J-20/16 -18, at Print Pack 2013. The company plans to offer promotional pricing and product bundling during the show.

The new technology embedded in Alwan PRINT Standardizer will allow printers for the first time to print to ISO 12647 while calibrating their press to the G7® grayscale standard.

For the first time today, printers do not have to choose anymore between ISO 12647 and G7® conformance. Thanks to industry first Alwan DynamicPrinterCalibration™, printers can conform to ISO 12647 standards requirements while benefiting from adopting the G7® calibration methodology, recognizing neutral grays and shared appearance across multiple processes.
